You can't Teach an old Dog new Tricks

The Old dog GOP is trying to learn new tricks. Every four years, the old dogs tries to find new minority voters by using the same tactics that never worked the last 12 years.  They use code words, visit a few churches, take a few photos with celebrities but never addresses issues like education, safety, and economics.

The new add campaign with Cathy Hughes' Radio One is a perfect example. It sounds like it was written for NPR Public radio, not an urban market demographic, but then again, when you are an old dog and you are only used to reaching out to white voters, what you end up with is a white ad on a black radio station.

The GOP is also ignoring Raynard Jackson and Niger Innes, folks with some gray on the temples that have earned some respect in urban communities.

Listen for yourself and let me know what you think.
