Trapped in Bubble City in The Washington Times

Could the leaking of secrets by Edward Snowden be more damaging to the United States or does it tell a more damaging tale of life in the bubble of Washington, DC?  Is it a symptom of what is wrong with Washington, DC and it’s isolation from the rest of America. Has it created a bubble paranoia that is leading those who live, work and earns their livings inside the bubble to become suspicious and to spy on everyone, without provocation, outside of the bubble?
